Welcome to MinglMe!
MinglMe is a digital platform that provides tickets to activities and enables interaction between users with the aim of creating genuine and meaningful connections. By creating an account and using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before you begin.


1. General
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply between you and us and regulate your use of the Service. The “Service” refers to the digital and physical services provided by Mingel Me AB, reg. no. 559510-0610 (“we”, “us”), via our website www.minglme.com (“the Website”), the digital web application MinglMe (“the App”), the mediation of tickets to activities (“Activities”) arranged by third-party providers of Activities (“Hosts”).
By “you” or “your” we mean you who have a user account (“User”), are a paying user (“Member”), have purchased a ticket in order to participate in an Activity, as well as you who participate in an Activity (“Participant”) and thereby use the Service.

By becoming a User or Member and using the Service, this agreement enters into force, you accept these Terms and confirm that you have read MinglMe’s Privacy Policy. Processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with MinglMe’s privacy policy in force at any given time.


2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account with MinglMe and beginning to use the Service, you accept these Terms. Upon registration, a subscription is also started in accordance with section 5. The first period is free of charge and gives you insight into features and available activities, but you cannot purchase a ticket to an activity during the trial period without activating your subscription.


If you wish to purchase a ticket to an activity during the trial period, you will, at the time of booking, be informed that your subscription will be activated and convert into a paid subscription.


3. User Account
3.1 Eligibility
To create a user account and use the Service you must: be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into agreements under Swedish law, provide accurate information when registering, provide a valid payment method, and accept these Terms as well as our Privacy Policy.


3.2 Responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that occurs through your account. MinglMe is not able to technically verify the identity of the person registering for the Service and accepts no responsibility for underage use that is not detected in time. Providing false information may result in immediate suspension. The user is responsible for being able to verify their age with a valid ID upon request.

3.3 Communication and Responsibility for Information

MinglMe communicates with users via the email address provided by the user at the time of account registration. The user is responsible for ensuring that the provided email address is accurate, active, and regularly monitored, and for ensuring that messages from MinglMe can be received and are not blocked or filtered as spam.

Information relating to bookings, confirmations, changes, cancelled activities, or other material information shall be deemed to have been received by the user when it has been sent to the registered email address.

MinglMe shall not be liable for any consequences arising from the user’s failure to review such information. Failure to read email messages, technical issues on the user’s side, or insufficient monitoring of the inbox or spam folder shall not constitute grounds for a refund, rescheduling, or any other compensation.

3.4 Personal Use
The account is personal and may not be shared with any third party. The Service may only be used for private, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for protecting your login credentials.


3.5 Prohibited Use
The Service may not be used for unlawful purposes or in ways that may be considered offensive or inappropriate. In case of violations, MinglMe has the right to suspend or terminate your account.


4. The Service
The Service mediates tickets to activities organised by Hosts and enables interaction with other users via our digital platforms.
MinglMe is a mediator of tickets and contact between users and hosts, but is not the organiser of the activities.


5. Payment Terms and Subscription
When you register an account, a subscription to MinglMe’s Service is automatically initiated. The first period is free of charge and allows you to explore the platform’s functions and offerings at no cost.


After the free period, the subscription converts into a paid monthly subscription that continues until further notice. The current subscription fee is shown at the time of registration. By creating an account, you confirm that you are aware that a subscription is initiated, including the terms for the free trial period and the transition to a paid subscription.


You may cancel your subscription at any time, including during the free period. If you do not cancel before the free period ends, you agree that the subscription continues and that payments are made according to applicable terms.


Payment is made in advance for each period via the payment method you have chosen. Payment is handled by a third-party provider. Missing payment may result in your account being paused or terminated.


5.1 Ticket Purchases During the Trial Period
Ticket purchases for activities are only available to paying members. When you, as a user in the trial period, wish to purchase a ticket, you will be informed that buying a ticket requires a paid subscription, be given the opportunity to accept immediate activation of your subscription, and be charged according to the current subscription price.


By proceeding with the ticket purchase, you consent to your account being immediately upgraded to a paid membership.


6. Right of Withdrawal
For the subscription, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the day you created your account, in accordance with the Distance Contracts Act. You manage your account and can cancel the subscription under “My Profile”. For conditions regarding the right of withdrawal for tickets to activities, see section 7.2.


7. Activities and Hosts
Activities are arranged by independent Hosts. The Host is responsible for the content, execution, safety, and any changes to the activity.
MinglMe provides the platform, booking system and payment processing, but is not responsible for the activity itself.


7.1 Minimum Participants
For an Activity to take place, a minimum number of participants may be required. If the minimum number is not reached, the Host reserves the right to cancel the Activity, and MinglMe will refund the amount you paid via the same payment method used at purchase.


7.2 Ticket Purchases & Right of Withdrawal
Payment is made via the stated payment methods and includes VAT unless otherwise specified.


According to the Distance Contracts Act (2005:59), there is no right of withdrawal for tickets to activities with a specific date or time period. Payments are therefore binding unless the Host expressly offers a refund. MinglMe is only a mediator and follows the same legal guidelines; the Host determines any refund terms.


If a refund is offered and the conditions are met, it will be made via the same payment method used at purchase, within 30 days of the request, adjusted for any external transaction fees that are not refunded by the payment service provider.


MinglMe does not compensate participants who cannot attend due to illness, medical reasons or other causes.


7.3 Changes to an Activity
If MinglMe or the Host, before an Activity begins, is forced to change the time, date, place or any other essential aspect of the Activity, the Participant will be notified by email as soon as possible. The Participant has the right to:
Participate in the Activity at the new date and location, or

Decline participation and request a refund of the amount paid, if applicable.

Refunds, if applicable, will be made without additional fees within thirty (30) days from the Participant’s request.
MinglMe shall not be held responsible for changes due to force majeure.


7.4 Cancellation of an Activity
If MinglMe or the Host is forced to cancel an Activity, the Participant will be notified as soon as possible via email. In case of cancellation, the Participant is entitled to a refund of the full amount paid, if applicable.
Refund will be made without additional fees within thirty (30) days from the notification of cancellation.

7.5 Allergies, Special Diets and Participant Responsibility

For activities where food or beverages are included, the participant is responsible for notifying any allergies, food intolerances, or requirements for vegetarian or vegan meals no later than 48 hours before the start of the activity.

This responsibility applies regardless of whether any reminder, request, or information has been provided by MinglMe or the host.
Special dietary requirements that have not been notified within the specified time frame cannot be accommodated. If, due to late or missing notification, the participant is unable to participate in or fully utilize the activity, the right to use the ticket is forfeited.

No refund, rescheduling, or other compensation will be provided.

7.6 Health Requirements and Responsibility When Participating
Participation is at your own risk. You are responsible for assessing whether an activity is suitable for you and whether you are healthy enough to participate without risk to yourself or others.
If an accident or incident occurs due to lack of attention or participation despite unsuitable health conditions, MinglMe is not responsible. If necessary, MinglMe or the Host may require you to sign a liability waiver.


7.7 Code of Conduct
Participants must follow the code of conduct to create a safe and positive environment:
Treat others with respect and kindness.

Follow the Host’s instructions and report inappropriate behaviour.

Act responsibly and respect your own and others’ boundaries, including regarding alcohol consumption.

7.8 Liability and Safety
Participants commit to:
Follow the Host’s instructions, safety guidelines and rules.

Respect the code of conduct and these Terms.

MinglMe may suspend or terminate accounts/memberships in case of rule violations.
MinglMe is not responsible for damages arising from:

  • Other participants’ behaviour or negligence.
  • Violations of the code of conduct.
  • Force majeure or unforeseen events outside MinglMe’s control.

7.9 Exclusion
Participants who break the rules may receive:

  • A warning for minor violations.
  • Exclusion for serious violations or risks to safety and wellbeing.
  • Examples of serious violations: intoxicated behaviour, health risks, harassment or inappropriate conduct.

Consequences:
No compensation upon exclusion. Possible loss of right to participate in future activities.

Serious violations may be reported to authorities by MinglMe or the Host.

7.10 Travel as an Activity
These Terms of Service do not apply to travel services advertised in the Service.
Such services will be subject to an agreement entered directly between the Member or User and the travel provider. Please refer to the specific Host’s general terms.

8. Rights
All intellectual property rights to the Service, including technical solutions, design, source code, trademarks and content, belong to MinglMe or our licensors. You may not copy, modify or share material covered by these rights unless the Service explicitly allows it. MinglMe is a registered trademark owned by Mingel Me AB.
Content and information you register in the Service belongs to you. MinglMe does not claim ownership of user-generated content, and only processes it in accordance with the Privacy Policy.


9. Our Responsibility
The Service is normally available around the clock, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Availability may be affected by external factors, system maintenance or updates.
We reserve the right to change, develop or terminate all or parts of the Service without your approval. You are not entitled to compensation for changes or if the Service does not function flawlessly.
The Service may include links to third-party websites or apps, and we are not responsible for their content.
For Activities, each Host is responsible for the offering and quality. MinglMe does not guarantee access to specific Hosts or Activities.


10. Limitation of Liability
MinglMe is not responsible for the quality, safety or execution of activities, as these are performed by the respective Hosts.
MinglMe’s responsibility is limited to providing the Service, including booking, subscription management and payment facilitation, in accordance with these Terms.
MinglMe is not liable for indirect or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law.


11. Changes to the Service
MinglMe reserves the right to update, change or temporarily suspend the Service at any time. In the event of material changes that affect your subscription, you will be informed by email or in the app. Changes to features (e.g., removed features) do not entitle you to compensation.
11.1 Changes to Price
If MinglMe changes the subscription price, we will notify you via email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. You have the right to cancel the subscription without cost before the change begins.


12. Changes to the Terms
MinglMe may update these Terms from time to time. In the event of significant changes, MinglMe will notify users via email or in the app before the change takes effect.
By continuing to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you accept the changes.


13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Swedish law shall apply to these Terms. Disputes arising in connection with the Service shall primarily be resolved through dialogue between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved in this way, it may be referred to a Swedish court of general jurisdiction.
